Certificate could not be issued due to technical problems and was not immediately available. Certificate had to be purchased again from another provider. Immediate remedy by SSLPoint was not available.
The process to buy certificates is pretty straight forward and fast, it would be nice to be able to delete the pcertificates that have been expired from the list of products.

The process works perfectly and transparently from A-Z. If an error occurs, which you usually cause yourself, the support solves the problem very promptly.

Unfortunately, after the purchase and payment, it is not clear to me what happens next. What else do I need to do for identification? When will we receive the certificate?

Everything worked fine. However, the Globalsign/AlphaSSL wildcard intermediate certificate that is offered for download seems to be outdated (G2 instead of G4). It took me a moment to notice this and to remedy the situation by downloading it directly from GlobalSign.
I had absolutely no idea what I was doing... A very important website that my school hosts had its SSL Cert expire, and I had no documentation from previous management about this. I reached out to GlobalSign, who then kindly raised a ticket and CC'd in SSLPoint (since SSLPoint is who my school previously dealt with). SSLPoint were very quick in helping me out and getting my SSL Wildcard Cert renewed. Lots of additional stress avoided thanks to the awesome service. Thank You!!

Seit dem 1.9.2020 werden Zertifikate von den Vergabestellen nur mehr mit einer Laufzeit von maximal 13 Monaten ausgestellt. Vor Ablauf des Zertifikates kann das Zertifikat über das Kundenmenü neu ausgestellt werden, um die restliche Laufzeit zu nutzen. Sie können dabei entscheiden, ob Sie den ursprünglichen Zertifikatsauftrag (CSR) weiter verwenden oder einen neuen übermitteln möchten.
The process of reordering is straightforward and customer-friendly. What was not clear to me is that the expiration date of the certificate is already set with the order. I would have had to create the new certificate only in a month. Too bad...
